Puerta 43 is a curatorial and editorial studio devoted to the inner life of objects, shaped by restraint: fewer pieces, chosen with precision, meant to last. We seek the essential, forms that hold their ground without asking for attention.
We curate through material honesty and emotional resonance. Pieces that can be lived with daily, yet still feel like an encounter: a weight in the hand, a surface that remembers, a function that becomes ritual.
A PRACTICE OF SELECTION AND MAKING
Our practice moves between curation and creation.
We develop small editions and commission new work in collaboration with artists and makers, alongside carefully selected objects we bring into context. Our collections become chapters—visual archives built around the biographies of things: where they come from, material, gesture, and what they make possible in a room.
